In the play "a raisin in the sun" reminds me of something we are actually learning in U.S history which is the "great depression". During the great depression many families suffered in maintaining a home and providing for there family, which is something Walter and Ruth are going threw. i can relate with the problems there going threw , they might not be the same problems but i understand. So far, the play is very interesting and i remember reading this before and watching the movie but i forgot and reading it all over again still makes it very interesting. In this play there is alot of drama going on and its barely in scene 1. i cant waitto keep on reading and see whats going to happen next. :)
The one person i can possibly relate to in the play is probably Walter. Walter has dreams and plans and when it doesnt go the way he wants it to he gets mad and frustrated. i also get mad knowing that nobody is supporting me in my dream and plans knowing thaat they can help. Walter wants a better life for his family and he would dop anything to make their lives better.
